The Gifted
Synopsis
Pang is an ordinary, low-class tenth-grade student at a school that sorts by ability, and he becomes the first Class VIII student ever admitted into the Gifted Programme, an exclusive class nobody outside it is told much about. Inside it, Pang and his classmates find that their abilities are real, each one tied to something in their own personality, and so is the reason the school has been collecting them.
As the students test what their powers can do, they start uncovering a history of abuse behind the programme and the director running it, and the series stays more interested in exposing that institution than in showing off the powers themselves.
The Gifted starred Korapat Kirdpan as Pang, with Wachirawit Ruangwiwat, Ladapa Thongkham, Harit Cheewagaroon, Methika Jiranorraphat, Atthaphan Phunsawat, Pattadon Janngeon, and Napasorn Weerayuttvilai rounding out the Class VIII ensemble. The 13-episode series aired on One31 and LINE TV in 2018.
