Synopsis
Cha Eun-Woo on PENSHOPPE TV! is branded content: a four-episode web series that the Philippine clothing brand Penshoppe built around its ambassador, Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO, and posted on its YouTube channel. The episodes went up on 27 and 28 November and on 4 and 11 December 2021, at around 16 to 17 minutes each.
The series grew out of an endorsement deal. Penshoppe named Cha an international ambassador on 11 February 2021 and released a video of him modelling its clothes the next day, Rappler reported. He joined a roster that already included Lisa of Blackpink, Nam Joo-hyuk, Sandara Park, Zayn Malik and Kendall Jenner. He already had a following in the Philippines by then: his first fan meeting in Manila took place in October 2019, and from December 2020 he was also an ambassador for another Filipino company, Frontrow.
PENSHOPPE TV was an existing label on the brand's channel. The description of the first episode says the show is back, this time with Cha as its guest. Penshoppe's notes for each episode are a single line and do not say what happens in it, and no press report on individual episodes was found, so the episode list on this page gives dates only.
