South Korean actor under Management Allum, known for Hospital Playlist, Crash Course in Romance and Prison Playbook.
Biography
Jung Kyung-ho was born on 31 August 1983 in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, and studied theater at Chung-Ang University. His father, Jung Eul-young, was a veteran television director, and Jung has said the two were estranged for about three years after he chose acting against his father's wishes; they later reconciled.
He passed a KBS audition and debuted in 2004 in the mobile drama "5 Stars", then the same year appeared in the melodrama "I'm Sorry, I Love You", which brought him wider attention. He served in the military from 30 November 2010 to 4 September 2012.
Jung has built a long career across film and television, including "Herb" (2007), "Heartless City" (2013), "Prison Playbook" (2017–2018), "Hospital Playlist" (2020–2021) and "Crash Course in Romance" (2023).
He was in a relationship with singer-actress Choi Soo-young of Girls' Generation from 2012; as of this check (27 September 2026), English Wikipedia dates the relationship 2012 to 2026, meaning it has since ended. No marriage to Sooyoung or anyone else is documented.
