Love Between Fairy and Devil

Legend holds that Dongfang Qingcang of the Moon Tribe made himself an emotionless monster to seize power, killing his own father, taking the title of Moon Supreme, and leading a hundred thousand soldiers on a campaign of destruction before he was sealed away in the Haotian Tower for thirty thousand years. Xiao Lanhua, a low-ranking orchid spirit, stumbles into the tower and accidentally breaks the seal, and an old curse binds the two of them together from that point on.

The journey across the realms that follows changes Dongfang Qingcang more than it changes her, as the once-feared Moon Supreme is drawn back toward feeling by a fairy far beneath him in rank and power, while the fallout from his past threatens to catch up with both of them.

The series stars Esther Yu as Xiao Lanhua and Dylan Wang as Dongfang Qingcang, with Zhang Linghe and Xu Haiqiao in supporting roles. It ran for 36 episodes in 2022, airing on iQiyi and later reaching international audiences through Viki, Netflix, and Prime Video.
