Till the End of the Moon

Li Susu, daughter of the Hengyang Sect's leader, is sent five hundred years into the past to stop the Devil God Tantai Jin from ever rising, taking over the body of Ye Xiwu, a hostage bride the palace treats as disposable. She marries him to stay within reach of his heart, but every attempt she makes to end him ends up saving him instead, and her repeated interference turns out to be part of what hardens him into the thing she came back to stop.

Li Susu sacrifices herself before the transformation she was sent to prevent can be undone for good, and Tantai Jin spends five hundred centuries afterward searching for her soul, eventually becoming a disciple of the Xiaoyao Sect, where he finds her reborn. Their rekindled bond is threatened again once his own nature starts pulling the three realms back toward the same danger.

Till the End of the Moon starred Luo Yunxi as Tantai Jin and Bai Lu as Li Susu, with Chen Duling and Deng Wei in supporting roles. The 40-episode series aired on Youku in 2023.
