Mon Confiado is a Filipino character actor with more than 300 film credits, known for repeatedly playing President Emilio Aguinaldo in films including Heneral Luna (2015).
Biography
Mon Confiado, born Ramon Veroy Confiado on March 19, 1968, in Sampaloc, Manila, is a Filipino character actor. He is the son of veteran actor Angel Confiado from his father's second family, and he earned a civil engineering degree from Mapua Institute of Technology before pursuing acting full time.
Confiado has appeared in more than 300 films since his 1992 debut, working across mainstream, independent, and international productions. He won the FAMAS Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2008 for Eddie Romero's Faces of Love and again in 2018 for Mga Gabing Kasinghaba ng Hair Ko.
He is known for repeatedly playing President Emilio Aguinaldo, a role he took on in Heneral Luna (2015), Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral (2018), and the 2025 film Quezon, which also starred Jericho Rosales and Iain Glen. He played Gov. William Acosta in the series Senior High (2023-2024) and its continuation, High Street (2024).
In 2024, Confiado appeared as Dr. Franco Terra in the series Makiling. He has also received nominations from the Young Critics Circle and the PMPC Star Awards over his career.
