Secret Garden

Secret Garden brings together Gil Ra-im, a stuntwoman who does her own dangerous work without complaint, and Kim Joo-won, the arrogant CEO of a department store who has never had to want for anything. Their paths cross when Joo-won gets pulled into a scandal involving his cousin Oska, a famous singer, and Ra-im's line of work puts her directly in the middle of the fallout, an unlikely first meeting that neither of them expects to matter afterward.

As Joo-won keeps finding reasons to seek Ra-im out, his cold exterior starts cracking around a woman who refuses to be impressed by his money or his position, and the two begin falling for each other across a class divide neither is fully comfortable with. The story turns fantastical when the two mysteriously start swapping bodies, forcing Joo-won to navigate Ra-im's dangerous stunt work from inside her body while she has to handle his company and his family from inside his, each gaining a blunt new understanding of the other's life.

Music video director Yoon Seul, who has her own feelings for Joo-won, and singer Oska add further complications as the body-swapping romance plays out against Joo-won's family pressure to marry someone of his own social standing. Secret Garden aired on SBS from November 13, 2010 to January 16, 2011, across 20 episodes, starring Hyun Bin as Kim Joo-won and Ha Ji-won as Gil Ra-im. The finale drew a 35.2 percent audience share nationwide, and the series won major honors at both the 2010 SBS Drama Awards and the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards.
