Someday or One Day
Synopsis
Huang Yu-hsuan is still grieving her boyfriend when a mysterious Walkman and a bus ride put her in 1998, inside the body of a schoolgirl, Chen Yun-ru, who was about to die in a traffic accident. The boy she meets there, Li Zi-wei, has her boyfriend's face, and trying to rewrite what happens to Yun-ru turns out to be harder than working out how she got there in the first place.
As she moves between her own time and 1998, the line between saving Yun-ru and simply reliving her own grief starts to blur, and uncovering the truth behind the accident pulls in Yun-ru's friends Mo Jun-jie and Hsieh Chih-chi as well.
Someday or One Day starred Ko Chia-yen and Greg Hsu in dual roles, with Patrick Shih and Kenny Yen in support. The 13-episode series aired on CTV in 2019 and won Best Television Series, Best Leading Actress, and Best Writing at the 55th Golden Bell Awards, along with Best Theme Song at the Asian Television Awards.
