The Ghost Detective
Synopsis
Detective Lee Da-il only shows real interest in cases that intrigue him, but one pulls him in completely: the unsolved death of the younger sibling of his new assistant, Jung Yeo-wool. The case keeps crossing paths with Sunwoo Hye, a mysterious woman who always wears red and who seems to appear at the scene of every death connected to it.
As Da-il and Yeo-wool dig deeper, private investigator Han Sang-seop and medical examiner Gil Chae-won, who can communicate with the dead, get pulled into an investigation that keeps blurring the line between ordinary police work and something closer to the supernatural. Each fresh lead on Yeo-wool's sibling forces Da-il to reckon with how much of Sunwoo Hye's world he's willing to step into to get answers.
The Ghost Detective aired on KBS2 from September 5 to October 31, 2018, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, starring Choi Daniel as Da-il, Park Eun-bin as Yeo-wool and Lee Ji-ah as Sunwoo Hye.
