Synopsis
Gu Hye-young is nineteen, covered in a dragon tattoo, and not afraid of much of anything. She lives with her father, who runs a small Chinese restaurant, and her younger sibling, in a life that is modest but stable until her father, Gu Bon-jin, is badly hurt in a car accident that leaves him in a coma.
With her father unable to run the restaurant or speak for himself, Hye-young is left to hold the family together while something about the accident keeps nagging at her. Rather than accept it as a random misfortune, she starts digging into what actually happened that night, pushing past the answers people would rather give her.
What she finds does not match the story she was told. As the truth behind her father's accident comes into focus, Hye-young's search turns from grief into anger at the people and systems that let it happen, and the film follows her from a nineteen-year-old just trying to get by to someone determined to make that anger count for something.
