Yoon Kyun Sang is a South Korean actor best known for playing Ki Jae-myung in Pinocchio (2014-2015) and for leading The Rebel (2017).
Biography
Yoon Kyun Sang was born on March 31, 1987, in Jeonju, South Korea. Before acting he worked as a fashion model, and he completed South Korea's mandatory military service, which he has said he undertook partly to honor his father's wishes. He made his acting debut in 2012 in the historical drama Faith, playing the character Deok-man, and followed it with supporting roles in the sports film No Breathing (2013) and the crime thriller Gap-dong (2014), in which he played the youngest detective on the investigation team.
He gained wider recognition playing Ki Jae-myung in the drama Pinocchio (2014–2015), then took supporting roles in Six Flying Dragons (2015–2016) as Moo-hyul and The Doctors (2016) as Jung Yoon-do. He moved into leading roles with the film The Rebel (2017), followed by the dramas Oh, the Mysterious (2017–2018), Clean with Passion for Now (2018–2019) and Class of Lies (2019).
As of January 2022, Yoon is represented by Management A.M.9, after ending his contract with his previous agency, Hooxi Creative.
