Jin Kyung is a South Korean actress known for playing news anchor Song Cha Ok in Pinocchio, and for supporting roles in Veteran, Assassination and Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

Biography

Jin Kyung is a South Korean actress who came to acting through the theatre, studying at the Korea National University of Arts and making her stage debut in 1998. She spent roughly a decade in supporting screen roles before wider recognition arrived in the 2010s, and her turn as the coldly ambitious news anchor Song Cha Ok in Pinocchio is among her best known performances. She has since become a familiar presence in Korean film and television, appearing in Cold Eyes, Veteran, Assassination, Dr. Romantic and Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Her work tends towards authoritative, tightly controlled adult characters rather than leading romantic parts.
