My Husband’s Lover

Vincent Soriano married his college girlfriend Lally while keeping his sexual orientation a secret, and the two build a family together over the years that follow. When Vincent's former lover Eric comes back into his life, their affair restarts, and the series refuses to make any of the three people caught in it, Vincent, Lally, or Eric, into a villain, which is a large part of why it landed the way it did.

The fallout after Lally discovers the affair plays out as a family drama about love and identity rather than a scandal built around blame, following all three characters through the aftermath rather than just the two men or just the betrayed wife.

My Husband's Lover starred Tom Rodriguez as Vincent, Dennis Trillo as Eric, and Carla Abellana as Lally. The 94-episode series aired on GMA Network from June to October 2013, becoming the first gay-themed drama series on Philippine television, winning Best Ensemble Performance at the Gawad Tanglaw Awards and Outstanding Original Drama Program at the Golden Screen TV Awards, and earning a nomination for Best Telenovela at the 42nd International Emmy Awards.
