Pangako Sa ‘Yo

A woman is separated from her newborn daughter and spends the next twenty years building the wealth and the name she believes she needs before she can come back for her. Unaware of who she really is, the daughter grows up poor, raised inside the household of the very family that took everything from her mother in the first place.

As the daughter comes of age, she falls in love with the son of the family that raised her, without knowing the history that connects their two families or the mother searching for a way back into her life. Her mother's return, once it comes, collides directly with the life her daughter has built inside the household she was meant to be taken from.

The series ran for 480 episodes and became one of the biggest teleserye hits of its era, with its finale drawing a 64.9 percent rating, the highest ever recorded for a series finale in the Philippines.
