Sisyphus: The Myth
Synopsis
Han Tae Sul, a brilliant engineer, builds a machine called the Uploader capable of sending a person back through time, without fully understanding the scale of what he has created. Kang Seo Hae, a soldier from a devastated future where the world has been destroyed by the consequences of Tae Sul's own invention, travels back to the present to stop that future from happening and to protect Tae Sul before the technology can be misused.
Tae Sul is also still searching for his older brother, Tae Sun, who vanished years earlier under circumstances tied to the same research, and Seo Hae's arrival forces him to confront how closely his missing brother, his invention, and the coming catastrophe are connected. Standing against them is the Control Bureau, a secretive agency working to keep the Uploader and its consequences under its own control rather than let the timeline be changed by outsiders.
As Tae Sul and Seo Hae work together to keep the Uploader from being used the way it was in her future, they are pursued by agents willing to kill to protect their version of events, while the two slowly piece together how Tae Sul's own choices set the disaster in motion in the first place.
