Judge vs. Judge
Synopsis
Lee Jung-joo is a judge at Seoul District Court, direct and emotionally expressive in a job that usually rewards the opposite. Her professional life is inseparable from a personal one: her older brother was convicted of rape and murder, and she has never accepted the verdict, using her position to dig back into the case and the wrongful conviction she believes put him away.
She's paired in the same division with Sa Eui-hyeon, a by-the-book judge whose insistence on following procedure puts him at odds with Jung-joo's more instinctive approach, even as the two end up leaning on each other. Prosecutor Do Han-joon and law student Jin Se-ra, a former idol from a wealthy family, pull the case and the courtroom politics around it in their own directions.
Judge vs. Judge stars Park Eun-bin and Yeon Woo-jin and aired on SBS across 32 episodes from November 22, 2017 to January 11, 2018.
