Hyun Bin’s latest drama, Made in Korea season 2, released its last two episodes on Disney+ on 23 September 2026, ending a six-episode run that began on 9 September. He plays Baek Ki Tae again, opposite Jung Woo Sung and Woo Do Hwan. No drama or film has been announced for him after it.
Made in Korea season 2 release date and episodes
Disney+ set the date on 4 August 2026 with a new teaser: episodes 1 and 2 on 9 September, then two more every Wednesday. Episodes 3 and 4 followed on 16 September and episodes 5 and 6 on 23 September. Six is also the number of episodes the first season had.
Hyun Bin in Made in Korea: the story nine years on
The second season picks up nine years after the first. Baek Ki Tae is at the height of his power, Jung Woo Sung’s prosecutor Jang Geon Young is preparing a counterattack, and Woo Do Hwan’s Baek Ki Hyun goes looking for his own route to the top. Seo Eun Soo, Won Ji An, Jung Sung Il and Roh Jae Won join them. Director Woo Min Ho put the difference simply: if the first season was a children’s fight, the second is an adults’ fight.
How the second season came about
At its Hong Kong preview event on 13 November 2025, Disney+ gave the first season a 24 December 2025 premiere and said the second was already in production, aimed at the second half of 2026. On 28 April 2026 it released the first stills and repeated that window.
Hyun Bin’s new drama after Made in Korea
None has been announced. His agency, VAST Entertainment, has not named a next drama or film, and Disney+ has said nothing about a third season. Asked about his next project in a February 2026 interview with TV Report, he said that if the right one came along it could be horror, comedy or something light.
