Biography

Lee Pil Mo was born on June 26, 1974, in Seoul, South Korea. He made his entertainment debut in 1999 in the film Shiri, playing a member of a North Korean special forces unit, and spent the early 2000s building a television career across various dramas.

His profile rose with the daily drama You Are My Destiny (2008), for which he won the Excellence Award for Actor in a Daily Drama at the 2008 KBS Drama Awards, and continued with the 2009 KBS series My Too Perfect Sons, in which he played Song Dae-poong. He went on to appear in Emergency Couple (2014), the fantasy drama Pinocchio (2014) and the historical drama The King's Affection (2021).

Lee is represented by PS Entertainment. He married interior designer Seo Soo-yeon on February 9, 2019, after the two met on a TV Chosun dating program; the couple have two children, born in August 2019 and in 2022.
