SEVENTEEN sold 3 million copies of Spill the Feels in five days

SEVENTEEN’s Spill the Feels had sold 3,066,825 copies on Hanteo Chart by the close of 18 October 2024, less than five days after its release on 14 October at 6 p.m. KST. That made it the fastest album of 2024 to pass three million. Its first full week on Hanteo, 14 to 20 October, came to 3,160,611.

Seventeen Spill the Feels sales, chart by chart

Soompi, reporting Hanteo’s data, called the first-week figure the highest for any K-pop album released in 2024, and SEVENTEEN the only act that year to sell three million in an album’s first week. The three million line was crossed on the fifth day of sales.

Hanteo and Circle count different things

Hanteo tracks sales as they are made, which is why a figure for the first five days exists at all. Circle Chart, the other Korean album chart, publishes weekly and monthly totals on its own count. The three million record belongs to Hanteo’s count, and a Circle Chart figure for the same period is a separate measurement.

The Seventeen Spill the Feels album

The title track is Love, Money, Fame, featuring DJ Khaled, released with the album. Two of the thirteen members sat out the promotions: Jeonghan because he had enlisted for military service, and Jun because of acting work in China.

What SEVENTEEN did next

The fifth studio album, Happy Burstday, came out on 26 May 2025 with Thunder as the lead single; Pharrell Williams wrote and produced one of its tracks, Bad Influence. The New_ world tour opened at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in September 2025, covered fourteen cities and drew more than 900,000 people counting online and in-person audiences. It closed at the same stadium with encore shows on 4 and 5 April 2026.

By then all thirteen members had renewed with PLEDIS Entertainment for a second time, and Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Woozi and Hoshi were doing their military service. Two units also performed at the encore: CxM, which is S.Coups and Mingyu, with the EP Hype Vibes, and DxS, which is DK and Seungkwan, with the EP Serenade.
