K-Pop sensation SEVENTEEN has surpassed 3 million album sales within only five days of releasing their 12th mini-album, SPILL THE FEELS. According to Hanteo Chart, as of the 18th, the album has sold an impressive 3,066,825 copies, setting a new record for the fastest K-Pop album to hit the 3 million mark this year.

The group’s latest achievement is particularly significant as they are the only artists this year to achieve triple million-seller status within the first week of release, known as the “first-week sales period.” The anticipation for SPILL THE FEELS was high, with pre-orders nearing 3.5 million copies, and an astounding 2,494,180 copies sold on the release day alone, showcasing SEVENTEEN’s undeniable popularity.

The global response has been equally enthusiastic. The album reached #2 on the “Worldwide iTunes Albums” chart and secured the top spot on Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Rankings. Fans around the world are embracing the album, with the title track “Love, Money, Fame” (featuring DJ Khaled) ranking second on Japan’s Line Music Daily Chart and dominating the top positions on South Korea’s Melon and Bugs charts.

On October 18, SEVENTEEN released additional versions of “Love, Money, Fame,” including an English version, a sped-up version, and remixes by Hitchhiker and TAK. The group’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, has expressed gratitude and encouraged continued support for the new releases.

SEVENTEEN is set to perform the title track on MBC’s Show! Music Core and continue their SEVENTEEN Light Here World Tour. Starting in Rosemont, USA, on October 22-23, the group will visit cities including New York, Texas, Oakland, and Los Angeles. The tour will then expand to four major domes in Japan and other key Asian cities.
